CX Online Banking Account Opening Business Rules

  • To open an account at Quontic Bank, the client must be
    • A U.S Citizen or a U.S resident
    • Must be 18 years and older
    • Must have a valid Social Security Number
    • Must have a U.S address (no P.O. Box)
  • Quontic Bank does NOT open the following account
    • Trust Account
    • Individual Retirement Account (IRA) 
    • Guardianship Accounts or Minor Account
    • Power Of Attorney Account
    • Conservator Account
    • Business Account (ALL Entities)
  • CX can check in Mantl for the status of the application – See CX SOPMantl or Mantl MaxMyInterest for further instructions
    • Approved – the account has been successfully booked
    • Incomplete – The client has not submitted the application
    • Declined – The applicant has NOT been approved
    • KYC Pending – The application needs to be submitted manually by the Digital Bank team
  • Refer to funding amounts for new applicants in Appendix
  • Denied Application:
    • The Digital Bank Product team manually reviews declined applications for Existing Clients ONLY
    • Do not advise the applicant to alter their email address
      • Due to the new upgrade on May 4th, 2023, this alternative is no longer available
    • Do not tell declined applicants to submit a request in writing for a reason for the decline
      • The information provided on our applications is processed through an automated system
      • We are not provided with why an application is not approved; therefore, we cannot provide any more information
    • The applicant will be allowed to review their submitted application and make any modifications necessary and resubmit their application a SECOND TIME ONLY
      • Escalate the HubSpot ticket to one of the following members:
        • SVP/ Customer Success
        • Quality Manager
        • Senior Customer Success
    • If not approved after re-applying, we will not be able to provide a Quontic Bank product
  • The client can save or cancel the application
    • The client will receive an email reminder stating that there is an incomplete application daily
    • The client can cancel an application at any time by logging in to the application
  • CX must not cancel any applications for the customer
